Lock It In: How to Measure for a Chastity Cage

Lock It In: How to Measure for a Chastity Cage

Chastity play can be thrilling, empowering, and deeply erotic—but only if your cage actually fits. Whether you're exploring denial for the first time or you're a seasoned keyholder, choosing the right size chastity cage is essential for safety, comfort, and long-term wear. Getting the fit wrong can mean pinching, rubbing, or painful erections (which can be a kink in itself, but not for everyone). So let’s walk you through how to measure properly, what to look for in a good fit, and why our brand new chastity cage is a game-changer.

📏 Step One: Measuring Up

You’ll need a soft tape measure or a piece of string and a ruler. Make sure you’re relaxed, warm, and not aroused—measure when you're completely flaccid. Here's what you’re looking for:

1. Ring Size (Base Ring Diameter)
This is the circular ring that sits behind the testicles and penis.

  • Wrap the tape or string around the base of the penis and behind the balls where it feels snug but not tight.

  • Standard sizes range from about 40mm to 55mm.

  • If you’re between sizes, go smaller for a snugger (and more secure) fit, larger for comfort.

2. Cage Length
Measure from the base of your penis (against your body) to the tip. This is how long your cage should be.

  • Subtract about 0.5–1cm for a good snug fit.

  • Too long and you risk chafing. Too short, and it’ll press uncomfortably into your tip.

3. Cage Diameter (Girth)
This is the internal width of the cage itself.

  • Measure the circumference of your penis while flaccid, then divide by π (~3.14) to get the diameter.

  • Most standard cages have an internal diameter of around 30–35mm.

⚠️ A Note About Erections and Pain

Some cages allow a bit of “growth” when you get hard, while others shut it down immediately. If you don’t want painful pressure during an erection (trust us, it’s not for the faint of heart), choose a cage that:

  • Is short enough to prevent even partial erections.

  • Is narrow enough to keep you gently compressed but not crushed.

  • Doesn’t allow much “wiggle room,” as space equals stimulation.

This is especially important for beginners or wearers interested in long-term use. A cage that’s just a few millimetres too long can turn a cheeky night of chastity into a very unsexy emergency.

Final Thoughts

Chastity is all about surrender, control, and pleasure—but it starts with getting the fit right. Taking time to measure properly and choose the correct size is the key to a safe and satisfying experience. And remember: it’s supposed to be restrictive, but it should never be harmful (unless that’s what you’re into, you filthy minx).
